SO, I had my first weigh in with the Greatest Loser and I have lost 5 pounds! I am feeling awesome, still trying to work through my lazy nature and get my butt working out, but I am super happy about my five pounds! This week is Spring Break and that brings a whole new set of challenges. I don't have to be in bed early or get up early so it is going to be hard not to drink and go out to eat. I went to the grocery store today so hopefully I can just ignore all the eating out and going to bars. I still have not gone down a size, whats that all about? How long does it take? Also, my plan this week is to workout with the greatest loser every single day this week...my body is going to be SORE! Unfortunately my laziness is threatening to interfere!
I have learned a couple of things so far: First of all, I realize that I need to eat the stuff I like but only in super moderation. For example, I have not eaten ranch dressing in weeks, except for once or twice and then I did not eat a whole vat of it, just a spoonful! It's pretty hard, though. I really like ranch! Also, a little bit of exercise go a long way. If I feel like I want to have something bad, I just make sure I workout FIRST! I used to tell myself it was cool cause I would workout later but now I know I need to do the working out first:)
I have also learned to like things that I used to hate. Like yogurt! I hated yogurt and most kinds I still hate, but I found this whipped kind and its really not bad at all. I am proud of myself!
